Bennie Bowman, owner of Bowman Poultry, is also a full-time dairy farmer. He owns Bowman Dairy Farms with his brother, Trent. Bennie's dairy farms, with some 800 Holstein, keeps Bennie busy but he still finds time to raise chickens as a hobby. He and his wife Martha have four children, which also keep them busy. Bennie has been interested in raising chickens for about 10 years. He has been most intrigued with show-quality chickens and ducks. His chickens have won numerous awards, and he was awarded Champion Continental for his Silver-Spangled Hamburg.
